Mohsin Naqvi greets Sikh community on 555th birthday of Baba Guru Nanak

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday extended his heartfelt greetings to Sikh community all over the world on 555th birthday of Baba Guru Nanak, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his message of felicitation, Mohsin Naqvi said that Baba Guru Nanak, in his teachings, spread the message of love to humanity, sympathy and equality.

Mohsin Naqvi described Baba Guru Nanak as symbol of interfaith and religious harmony between all segments of society.

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi welcomed all the Sikh yatrees who arrived in Pakistan from all over the world to attend 555th birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak.

Interior Minister further revealed that Sikhs from United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA) and Canada obtained their visas free online.

He said that a separate quota will be allotted for Sikh community to watch ICC Champions Cricket Trophy matches in Pakistan. Mohsin Naqvi said that he will welcome them and take all measures to facilitate Sikh fans.

Mohsin Naqvi said that providing all facilities to Sikh pilgrims to perform their religious rituals smoothly is our duty.
