Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Wednesday that no Afghan national would be allowed to stay in Islamabad after December 31, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media, he said that the situation had started normalizing in the federal capital after the PTI protestors were evicted from the Red Zone. “All roads have been opened for traffic.”

Regretting that the PTI was busy doing propaganda that its workers had lost lives during clashes with the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel, he challenged the party to show just one dead body, if any.

“For the last two days, these people are going from hospital to hospital to find a body, but in vain.”

He further said that no cop had a weapon in his hands.

He said that KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had no place to hide after a flop show at the Red Zone.

Naqvi announced that the government would approach the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for the initiation of contempt proceedings against the PTI leaders for holding the protest despite the court orders.

“We will also submit a report at the federal cabinet meeting,” the minister added.
