Zardari, Bilawal grieved over death of Rashid Rabbani

Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have expressed their profound grief and sorrow over the demise of PPP leader and devoted worker of the party Rashid Rabbani who passed away in a hospital of Karachi on Thursday.

Rashid Rabbani was admitted in the hospital for the last few days and was on ventilator.

In their separate condolence messages, Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Rashid Rabbani was a great asset of the party whose sacrifices for democracy and party leadership are immense and unforgettable.  He was a brave and steadfast worker of the party.

Meanwhile, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced three-day mourning over the sad demise of senior party leader Rashid Rabbani.  According to a party announcement, the October 18 public meeting will also be held in the memories of Shuhda-e-Karsaz and late Rashid Rabbani.
