Pakistani pop singer Aima Baig has given a detailed explanation for jokingly suggesting a metaphorical marriage to fellow stars Maya Ali and Wahaj Ali, who are also close buddies, after observing their mind-blowing chemistry during the promo of their upcoming drama serial 'Sunn Mere Dil.'
In case the readers are not aware, Aima Baig has lately landed herself into a controversy after making a humorous comment on Maya Ali and Wahaj Ali’s intimate photos from the upcoming drama serial. The photos feature Maya and Wahaj dressed in matching white attires while posing closely with tears in eyes, highlighting possible difficulties in the relationship that the duo would actually perform in the upcoming drama serial.

Over finding the pictures on social media, Aima Baig commented: “Probably should get married, metaphorically lol.”
Aima Baig’s above-mentioned remarks invited fans’ frustration which eventually led to the star for detailed clarification.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Aima Baig addressed the subject with a detailed note persuading people to consider her ‘insane’ suggestion for Maya and Wahaj as a joke which she made after assuming them working perfectly together.
The note reads: “It was a joke everybody because they were perfect with each other. If you compare me with Tahir Shah because our chemistry is so amazing. I will take that as a compliment tbh. Why do you hate everything so much? I don’t understand we all are human and joking is something that should be digest at least.”

It is important to note that Wahaj Ali is happily married and has a daughter too. Whereas, Maya Ali is currently enjoying singlehood. It is also important to mention that they two were shipped together by fans previously.
However, the upcoming drama serial Sun Mery Dill in which Maya and Wahaj are performing together has been written by the most high-rated Pakistani writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar and it has been directed by Haseeb Hassan who also directed Alif. The drama serial has been produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment Productions. The channel has dropped the first look/teaser of the drama serial Sun Mere Dil. Maya Ali is playing the character of Sadaf, while Wahaj Ali is portraying the character of Bilal Abdullah.
