Leaking from main dome noted; Taj Mahal structure remains undamaged; Heavy rain leads to water accumulation in Taj Mahal's garden

Three days of continuous rain in the Indian city of Agra have caused leaks in the roof of the Taj Mahal, a magnificent monument from the Mughal era, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.

According to Indian media reports, the rainwater has also accumulated in the garden adjacent to the Taj Mahal.

Persistent rain has led to water dripping from the main dome of the monument, but fortunately, no damage has been caused to the structure itself.

As soon as the rain ceases, repair work on the mausoleum and the removal of water from the garden will commence to prevent further leakage and preserve the integrity of this historic site.
