A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) delegation met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman hosted a dinner for the PTI delegation. The visiting delegation thanked Fazl for the dinner and praised his hospitality.
According to sources, the PTI delegation said the government is doing something fishy.
Fazl told the PTI delegation that he disagreed with the government's proposals and raised his concerns.
The insiders cited Fazl as saying: “We have given our suggestions to the government. I am not in favour of extending the tenure of an individual. Consultation with the legal team is ongoing.”
