Hosts shower currency, mobile phones, suits at Narowal wedding

In this era of inflation, brothers and relatives of a groom showered currency notes, suits and even mobile phones at an unprecedented wedding ceremony in Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Moreover, the guests were given cash, mobile phones, clothes and wristwatches as prizes on the occasion of marriage.

According to the report, local butcher Arshad spent millions of rupees on his son Farid's wedding.

The passersby also made hay when the sun shines as the hosts continued to shower shower cash, suits and mobiles.

Women, children, youth and local people looted lot of money by filled their pockets.

The wedding procession went to Sagarpur, a nearby area of Narowal city.
