Lovebirds commit suicide in Sahiwal

Two youth committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills upon the failure of their union in Sahiwal, reported 24 News HD TV Channel Tuesday.

According to the local police, both the boy and girl were true lovers to each other. They wanted to marry, however, due to unknown reasons, both Farhan Shahid and Rabia committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills at Railway Station Sahiwal.  

Rabia was a resident of Faisalabad and her age is said to be 22 years, while Farhan Shahid was a resident of the suburban area of Sahiwal and his age was 24. Railway police shifted the couple to DHQ with the help of Rescue 1122.

Rabia died on the way to DHQ hospital while Farhan lost his life on reaching the hospital.  Police started further investigation.
