Three doctors of Sahiwal Teaching Hospital terminated over negligence

Three doctors who were performing their duties at Sahiwal Teaching Hospital were terminated from their services for showing negligence, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to details, the three doctors who were on duty at Surgical Emergency Ward failed to attend an injured person of an accident despite the passage of three hours. The doctors advised him to first take CT Scan report and then ultra-sound and X-ray report.
When the man approached the CT Scan department they refused to conduct his CT scan examination without charging fee. His condition turned critical during submission of his CT scan examination fee and he then breathed his last.
Heirs of the deceased demanded Chief Minister of Punjab to take notice of this incident and provide them justice and take stern action against doctors involved in this heinous crime.
