Pakistan Express service to be resumed on December 23

The Railways Department is all set to resume the service of Pakistan Express on December 23, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The step is being taken on the direction of Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq. The express will run between Karachi and Rawalpindi.
The train will consist of 19 coaches, including 6 AC coaches and a dining car. Advance booking for Pakistan Express has been started
Earlier, the department decided to resume operations of the Fareed Express on December 22. The decision was taken in a meeting with Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in the chair to review the operations of Pakistan Railways.
It was decided to resume operations of the Fareed Express from December 22. The ministry would provide one Air-conditioned coach and two economy class coaches to the operator to increase the number of bogies to 18.
