PML-N to challenge officers on election duty verdict

Former information and broadcast minister Marriyum Aurangzeb Friday said that PML-N will move the Lahore High Court against the decision related to its returning officers, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Marriyum Aurangzeb took to X (formerly Twitter) and said that PML-N has decided to approach LHC to ensure the timely conduct of the general elections on February 8.
She said that PML-N will be part of a larger bench to move LHC against the decision about their returning officers.

Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have given the party a go-ahead and the legal team is preparing a petition.
Other political parties including Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, PML-Q, and Pakistan People’s Party have also decided to file petitions and become parts of the larger bench.
