Newly-elected independent member of National Assembly Brigadier (retd) Aslam Ghumman has been abducted by unidentified persons from Sialkot, claimed PTI, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a post uploaded on X platform in wee hours of Friday, senior PTI leader Omar Ayub, who was nominated for the post of prime ministership, claimed that Aslam Ghumman was taken away by unknow persons.
Omar Ayub said Aslam Ghumman, who won the National Assembly seat with PTI support, was being forced to leave the party and support PML-N.
Strongly condemning the enforced disappearance of Aslam Ghumman, Omar Ayub slammed the “rigging process” which is still continuing even after the general elections held on February 8.
