The Punjab Police on Sunday sealed a marquee for holding a wedding ceremony in Pakpattan district.
The Punjab government had banned all kinds of events including wedding ceremonies even at marquees during the lockdown across the province.
Despite the strict orders of the government, the administration of a private marquee in Pakpattan violated the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set for avoiding marriage events during the third wave of Covid-19 in Punjab.
Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Pakpattan Malik Mushtaq while taking the notice of the severe violation of SOPs at the marriage ceremony in a private marquee, ordered the Police to register a case against the violators. No, any arrest was done till filing this report.
