GIMS Hospital starts all surgeries robotically

Gambit Institute of Medical Science (GIMS Hospital) Khairpur, Sindh has started surgeries for every disease robotically.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the GIMS Hospital has taken another revolutionary step in the health sector and installed a robotic machine to perform operations in a better way.
As per the report, the robotic machine will perform the surgery by making a small hole in the patient's body without any caesarean.
The report said the robotic operation will reduce the cost of medicine and patients will discharge on the second day after the operation.
It further stated that there will also be a significant reduction in side effects from surgery.
According to GIMS Director Dr Rahim Bakhsh Bhatti, the value of the robotic machine is Rs500 million and former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Member of National Assembly Dr Syeda Nafeesa Shah played a vital role in bringing the robotic machine to the Hospital.
After SIUT, GIMS is the only institution in Pakistan where the surgery will be performed through Robot.
On this occasion, Member National Assembly Dr Syeda Nafisa Shah said that the Pakistan People's Party has done a lot of work in the health sector in Sindh, and its practical proof is GIMS Hospital.
Due to the interest and dedication of the former Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, a small dispensary is a today the largest health institution in the country.
