Amir Muqam says today is Maulana Day

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam has said that today was declared Democratic Day by the government which is planning to introduce raft of constitutional amendments in the parliament but this day has turned out to be Maulana Day, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.

Talking to media, Amir Muqam said lawmakers are waiting in Parliament for constitutional amendment bill but the government and the opposition was trying to gain JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl’s support as his votes will play key role.

PML-N leader said on one side, the government and on the other side, the Opposition is constantly visiting Maulana's house that is why Maulana Day is going on in Pakistan today. He said Lawmakers have reached parliament by 2pm. He hoped that government will get good the results.
