Fireworks-laden truck seized in Khairpur

Police in Khairpur have arrested two persons besides recovering fireworks worth millions of rupees from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
SSP Khairpur Dr. Samiullah told media persons that a team, led by SHO Ranipur Abdul Jabbar Memon, stopped a truck on the National Highway and recovered 286 cartons of fireworks from it.
Naming those arrested as Wasim Akhtar Malik and Mohammad Zohaib Araen, residents of Jhang, Punjab, the SSP explained that the suspects used to supply fireworks to people in Karachi.
The SSP has applauded the police for a successful operation.
