Protesters stormed the Bannu Education Board office over poor intermediate exam results, 24NewsHD reported on Monday.

Hundreds of angry individuals climbed over the board’s walls, entered the premises, and damaged office doors and windows.

The protesters claimed that the students' marks in the recent intermediate exams were far lower than expected.

During the protest, a youth was reported to have been injured after sustaining an electric shock. The Assistant Commissioner and police arrived at the scene and held talks with them.

The protesters agreed to call off their protest after being assured that negotiations with the acting chairman, Bannu Commissioner Abid Wazir would take place on September 18.

According to the board administration, the protest caused significant damage to the board’s property.
