A 28-year-old housemaid was found hanged in an Islamabad housing society, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the house owner alerted the security and the police as she did not get a response to the doorbells when she returned home from picking up children from school.

As she got in the kitchen, she found the body of her maid was handing, the police said.

The body was handed over to the family after the postmortem and the police said they started an investigation into whether it was a murder or suicide.
