Foreigner shot, injured while resisting robbery in Islamabad

A foreign national in Islamabad was shot and injured over offering resistance during a dacoity bid in Aabpara police stations limits on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Abdul Aleem, a foreign national, resident of G6 Embassy Road of Islamabad, was walking with his colleague at night when they were intercepted by three armed motorcyclists.

The unknown dacoits snatched mobile phone at gunpoint from the victim’s friend and when dacoits tried to snatch the bag and phone from Abdul Aleem, he offered resistance.

As a result, the dacoits opened fire at him and escaped from the scene.

The police shifted the injured foreigner to a nearby hospital and registered a case against unknown dacoits.

The rising street crime in the federal capital is creating panic among the citizens as they have urged the government to control the rising crime.
