Pak rupee gains rise against US dollar in interbank trading

Pakistani currency experienced a small rise against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the dollar became cheaper by 4 paisas, reaching a rate of Rs278.29 compared to Rs278.25 at the close of business yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed mixed trends at the start of trading today.
As per the channel report, the Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index rose 40 points to 70,523. The index was closed at 70,483 points yesterday.
