President Alvi, wife meet Kurulus: Osman team

Pakistan’s President Dr Arif Alvi, along with the First Lady, Samina Alvi, visited the sets of historical series Kuruluş: Osman and met the actors during his visit to Turkey.

President Arif Alvi and his wife met with the team of famous drama series Kurulus Osman at the location of the set. Turkish series producer Mehmet Bozdag shared series of photos of the president’s visit to the drama set on his Twitter handle.

The photographs show the president and his wife having a light chat with the cast and taking pictures in tribal clothes and jewellery. Pakistan’s President was on a three-day visit to Turkey.

In his tweet, Mehmet Bozdağ said, “We were honoured to host President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, Ms Samina Alvi and her delegation. I thank them for their trust and interest. Through them, I greet all brotherly Pakistani People.”

Furthermore, he also expressed gratitude as they put their trust and interest in the drama. Many Turkish artists were also present there during the President visit.

The Kuruluş: Osman is set in the 13th century and is based on the life of Ertuğrul, the father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The show has been well received in other countries such as Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry also visited Kurulus Osman film set.
