People in Mansehra, especially the youth, were stunned when they saw a 110-year-old man of their area marrying for the fourth time hardly 10 days after a 90-year-old Zakarya Baba, also from the same area, had tied the knot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The elder son of Baba Abdul Hanan Swati, who has total six sons and six daughters, is over 70 years old. And if his grandsons and granddaughters are also counted, the total number of his family members stands at 84.

Qari Muhammad Arshad solemnized the nikah at a local mosque while the Haq Mehr was fixed at Rs5,000.

Baba Ji’s bride, who belongs to Alai Battagram, is 55-year-old.

The groom’s children also attended the ceremony.

Video of the marriage function in which the bride could be seen wearing jewellery has gone viral.
