ANF raids pharma company involved in narcotics smuggling

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has raided an FYNK pharmaceutical company in Lahore that was involved in the manufacturing and smuggling of drugs and took five persons - including the owner of the company - into custody, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to an ANF spokesperson, 50 kg of Ketamine and two cars have also been taken into custody from the pharmaceutical company.
Those arrested have been identified as Tahir Mehmood, Liaqat Ali, Laeeq Ahmed, Tanveer Ahmed and Asad Abbas Naqvi.
FYNK pharmaceutical company was purchasing Ketamine from other pharma companies while portraying that the substance will be used in life-saving drugs but it was actually being used for manufacturing and smuggling of prohibited drugs.
A case has been lodged against the accused under the anti-narcotics act.
On the other hand, ANF recovered drugs from leather jackets being exported to New Zealand and London from Karachi airport cargo.
As per details, 500 grams of Ketamine, 3 kg heroin and 1.3 kg ice were recovered from leather jackets.
The drugs were placed inside the jackets with perfection. A case has been registered against the accused.
