FIA registers FIR against accused involved in Greek boat tragedy

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) filed an FIR against accused involved in human smuggling that led to the Greek boat tragedy, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The FIR was filed on behalf of the brother of a victim who died in a Greek boat tragedy. The accused, namely Qamaruz Zaman alias Khurram Jagga, Usman, Asif Jagga, and Sophia Ashfaq, were nominated in the FIR.
The above-mentioned accused tried to send Safiyan, who is a resident of Pasrur, to Libya by boat, but the ill-fated boat was overturned in the sea.
These accused collected Rs2.4 million from Safiyan for his settlement in Libya. FIA sources said that these accused were involved in sending people abroad.
All the accused belonged to the same family, FIA sources concluded as saying.
