Would-be suicide bomber bites the dust in South Waziristan operation

A would-be suicide bomber was killed during an intelligence-based operation by security forces in South Waziristan District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
After receiving intelligence about presence of a would-be bomber, security forces personnel launched an operation Spinki area of South Waziristan. The security personnel surrounded the hideout of the suicide bomber.
During the ensuing gunbattle, Rahman Mehsud alias Neikro’s suicide vest exploded claiming his own life.
The slain terrorist came to Pakistan from Afghanistan’s Logar province and was a close associate of key TTP commanders Azmatullah alias Lala and Khairban alias Khairu. Rahman Mehsud was involved in several attacks on security forces and installations.
The latest operation came hours after the security forces had repulsed a terrorist attack in Mianwali, killing one of the attackers on Thursday. Two other terrorists managed to escape.
The slain terrorists was identified as Habib-ur-Rehman, a commander of the TTP. The lawmen hade launched a hunt for the fleeing terrorists.
