Motorways closed as fog engulfs parts of Punjab 

Fog engulfed parts of Punjab throwing traffic out of gear on major highways, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Motorway from Faisalabad to Abdul Hakim has been closed because of poor visibility.

Similarly, the Motorway from Rahim Yar Khan to Sher Shah has been shut down to avert any untoward incident.

The officials have made an appeal to the people to avoid unnecessary travel in such situations and call the emergency helpline if they land in trouble. Protective measures must be adopted to avert disaster, the official insisted.
