LG polls: JI chief cries foul, calls party meeting

Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Sirajul Haq has announced protests in major cities of the country, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Sirajul cried foul and called an emergency meeting, saying that the delay in election results cast doubts. In the meeting, the future action plan will be made.
He said the JI ‘emerged as the largest party in the local bodies elections and the results of the polling agents are clear that Jamaat-e-Islami is in the majority.
He made an appeal for holding protests in major cities of the country.
