The Kohisar police have failed to have nailed a woman facing charges of misconduct with a traffic cop for having vehicle bearing illegal number plate, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Friday.
A woman from the family of lawmakers, according to sources, has been facing charges of misconduct with a traffic police during an operation against illegal number plates in the federal capital of Islamabad
Sources say the woman is niece of Senator Liaquat Khan Tarakai, sister-in-law of Senator Zeeshan Khanzada and cousin of KP minister Shahram Khan Tarakai.
She vented her spleen when the traffic official took action against the fancy number plate of her vehicle.
The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has been on a drive against illegal number plates and tinted glasses under Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Syed Karar Hussain and Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Muhamad Sarfaraz Virk. The operation began on the directions of IGP (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamilul Rehman.
