Flood risk in Nallah Daik in Pasrur

An alert was issued Sunday in the rural areas near Nallah Daik in Pasrur as it is posing a risk of severe flooding, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A deluge of nine thousand cusecs is flowing in the Daik Nallah causing a continuous rise in the water level and posing a threat of flooding the nearby villages.

Pasrur Assistant Commissioner Qamar Mehmood Manj stated that relief camps have been set up to deal with any kind of emergency situations.

The water level of Nallah Daik at the point of Kangra is rising continuously. However, Daik has the tendency to bear 25 thousand cusecs of deluge flowing through it.
