KP Robbers send letter to 18 riches to hold gold, money at home for 'Easy Robbery'

A robber’s gang in Swabi sent letters to 18 families of Dagai village anonymously asking them to take their wealth out of banks so they can rob it ‘easily’ and threatened them of death if they don’t comply, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The recipients of the letters decided to not pay off the sender of the letters and unanimously decided to condemn it. The Kalu Khan area Police took notice of the scene and filed a case on the report of the recipients.

The people said that they cannot be scared by a threat like this. If they are sending such letters today, they can even attack our houses. We will not at all be intimidated by this and we will fight back. A meeting consisting of political parties was called to consult the matter and decide the future courses of action.

Reportedly, the Police have not yet taken any action against the incident and have told the people to try and protect themselves. However, the police stated that the letters have been sent to the laboratory and full action will be taken once a solid result is attained.
