Wheat sacks found filled with sand in Hafizabad

Corruption of millions of rupees, committed in connivance with the Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation (PASCO) officials, has been detected as sacks of stocked wheat have been found filled with sand in Hafizabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to sources, each sack of four to 10 kilos of wheat has been found filled with sand.
On the other hand, PASCO’s tehsil in-charge has said that if that is the case, the corporation will look into it.
People have appealed to senior officials to take notice of the incident and take action against those responsible.
