Drug Court Chairman Muhammad Naveed Rana has directed the Secretary District Quality Control Board to probe the alleged sale of Actemra injections, meant for the treatment of coronavirus patients, at Lahore’s medical stores without warranty and submit to the court a report on June 1, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The court gave the orders after it learnt that a pharmacy in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) had been sealed by a drug inspector after it was revealed that the injections were being sold there without warranty.
At the same time, however, the court ordered the reopening of the DHA pharmacy since its owner was a license holder.
