PPP seeks nominations from potential Lahore candidates

As part of its preparations for the next year’s general elections, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has sought nomination papers from potential candidates for Lahore’s seats of national and provincial assemblies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

PPP Lahore President Chaudhry Aslam Gill sought the nominations for Lahore’s 14 National Assembly seats and 30 provincial assembly seats.

Aslam Gill, however, made in clear that the final decision to award tickets to contest elections will be made by the PPP Parliamentary Board.
