The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially confirmed that Jason Gillespie will continue to serve as the head coach of Pakistan’s red-ball cricket team for the upcoming two-Test series against South Africa.
This announcement comes amid recent rumors circulated by a cricket website, which had falsely claimed that Gillespie would be replaced and Aaqib Javed appointed as the head coach for all formats.
In a statement, the PCB clarified that the news regarding the coaching changes was incorrect and reaffirmed Gillespie's position with the national team.
