The Karachi’s goods transporters Sunday rejected hikes in the price of petrol and diesel, reported 24NewsHD TV.
The transporters gave a 72-hour deadline to the government in order to reverse the decision of increasing the prices of petroleum products.
City Goods Transporters Association President Rana Muhammad Ayaz said: “If the government did not withdraw hike in the prices of the petroleum and diesel products, strict decisions will be made from the transporters.”
Rana Muhammad Ayaz said: “Inflation was already at peak, but now the government further increased the price of petroleum products.”
He added: “Such initiative of the government made tough for the transporters to carry on their business.”

Moreover, he stressed the government to control the price hikes.
