The Aitchison College Junior Tennis Championship 2024, organized by the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association, continued with thrilling matches in the pre-quarterfinals at Aitchison College, Mall Road, Lahore.
Top performances were delivered in both the Boys U-18 and Boys U-14 categories, with Asad Zaman standing out as a key player. In the Boys U-18 singles pre-quarterfinals, Asad Zaman showcased his dominance, defeating Abdullah Yousaf 6-0, 6-1. Meanwhile, Muhammad Salaar beat Abdul Basit 6-2, 6-3, and Husnain Ali Rizwan secured a 6-2, 6-2 win over Kashan Tariq. Other notable results include Yafat Nadeem's emphatic 6-0, 6-1 victory against Hanzla Anwar, and Abu Bakar Talha’s commanding 6-2, 6-0 win over M. Yahya.
In the Boys U-14 pre-quarters, M. Hassan Usmani outclassed Aryaan Hassan 4-0, 4-0, while Ruhab Faisal and Razik Sultan both posted 4-0, 4-0 wins over their respective opponents. The competitive matches in the younger categories highlighted the rising talent in the junior tennis circuit.

Meanwhile, Dr Syed Muhammad Turab Hussain, Principal of Aitchison College, along with Rashid Malik (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz), Senior Executive Vice President of Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA), graced the occasion as chief guests. Joining them were Tournament Referee Sajjad Rasool and Tournament Coordinator Faheem Siddiqui, who oversaw the proceedings as the event got underway.
