A referendum on Khalistan’s independence from India will be held in Canada tomorrow, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to foreign media, political tension in Toronto reached its peak before the vote.

In Canada, there have been incidents of vandalism inside temples, against which the Indian government has demanded action from the Canadian government.

Earlier, a congregational prayer was also offered at Malton’s Sri Guru Granth Sahib Prakash Purab for the success of the referendum.

Voting will be held at Gore Meadows Recreation Center in Brampton where over 50,000 Sikhs are expected to take part. A massive campaign has begun in support of the referendum.
