India-made hand grenade found and diffused in Narowal

 An Indian-made hand grenade was discovered in the village of Suraj Chak, Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.  

The local police were immediately alerted about the explosive bomb present in the soil, prompting them to call the bomb disposal squad (BDS).

 The bomb disposal squad successfully defused the grenade, rendering it harmless and taking it into custody for further analysis.

Local authorities are now investigating how the grenade ended up in the village and whether any further security risks are present.
