Senior Vice President (SV) of a private bank filed a petition in a civil court in Islamabad over forced resignation and harassment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In her petition, Eman Khan Yousafzai said that management of the bank in which she was performing her duties as senior vice-president forced her to sign the resignation letter after subjecting her to harassment.
On the other hand, the management of the bank strongly rejected all the accusations and stated that Eman Khan Yousafzai had resigned from service according to her own desire and without any pressure.
The civil court constituted a commission on September 12, 2024 to scrutinize all the matter and sought detailed report. The commission visited the bank on September 13.
During their visit, the staff of the bank humiliated and insulted them and created hurdles in their investigation. They also misbehaved with the members of the commission.
The bank staff rejected their request to hand over all CCTV footage despite clear court orders.
