Child sacrifices favourite pet to secure release of fatherly figure

A boy gave his pet rooster to a lawyer as a fee to secure the release of his uncle from police, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

Ayaan reached Lahore from Patoki to get his uncle Mohsin Abbas released from police, local lawyer Malik Pervez said.

He added that the Patoki police arrested Mohsin illegally and even after taking a Rs25,000 bribe, they didn't set him free.

They handed Mohsin to Lahore police, he said, adding that the boy made a request to him for defending his uncle.

He said Mohsin is innocent and works at a tea stall in Patoki.

He vowed to contest the case free of cost and secured the release of Mohsin.
