Gold devalues in int’l market but prices rise more in Pakistan

The value of gold declined in the international market but the prices of yellow metal raised more in the Pakistani jewellers market on Thursday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the price of pure gold of 24 karats increased by Rs1,200 per tola in the Pakistani market.

After this increase in prices, the pure gold of 24 karats traded at Rs2,25,000 per tola while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs1,029 and traded at Rs1,92,901 per 10 grams.

The gold of 22 karats which is usually used for jewellery making in Pakistan, sold at the rate of Rs1,76,826 per 10 grams.

On Thursday, in the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats increased by five dollars per ounce to 1,900 dollars per ounce.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver per tola and per 10 grams also remained the same at Rs2,750 and Rs2,357.68 respectively.
