Textbooks become more expensive, prices increased up to 20pc 

The textbooks of schools and colleges have become more expensive as traders have increased the prices up to 20 per cent, reported24News HD TV Channel on Saturday.

According to the channel report, the private publishers have made the textbooks from primary to BS Honors degrees more expensive.

The report said the prices of books in the paper mart have gone up due to the lack of government’s control over the paper prices.

The channel report said after the increased prices, paper ofRs105 kilogram is being sold now at the new rate of Rs140 per kg.
