Differences have enhanced between former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his close associates as they have started distancing themselves from his narrative of targeting institutions and personalities.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in an interview with a private channel on Sunday opposed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for his criticism of ex-army chief General (Retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Yesterday, Imran Khan along with Pervaiz Elahi addressed the workers through a video link and strongly criticized ex-army chief General (Retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa. Elahi was seen as discomfort by his facial impressions and body language on Imran Khan's anti-Bajwa narrative.
Though at that time, Elahi remained silent but the next day in the interview, he expressed his anger by saying clearly that Imran Khan should not have done this.
Elahi had earlier also reminded Imran Khan of the kindness of General Bajwa to recognize him as he supported Imran Khan only at the request of General Bajwa.
