The funeral prayer of the valiant martyr Head Constable of Islamabad Capital Police, Ashraf, and his son Zeshan jointly were held on Sunday with utmost respect and honor.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the funeral prayer, a symbol of collective grief and solidarity, witnessed the participation of police officers, district administration officials, and representatives from law enforcement agencies and other walks of life.
The emotional ceremony took place at the Police Lines Headquarters, where the tragic loss of Head Constable Ashraf and his son was mourned collectively.
The attendees expressed their deep condolences and offered Fateha for the elevation of the martyrs’ rank.
Following the funeral prayers, the mortal remains of the martyr were transported to his ancestral village for burial. The journey to lay the heroes to rest was accompanied by a solemn procession, symbolizing the sacrifice made in the line of duty.
The father and son duo had embraced martyrdom in the early hours of the morning while attempting to apprehend dacoits. Both were tragically shot during the encounter.
Expressing condolences, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dr. Akbar Naseer Khan extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families of the martyrs.
The RPO emphasized the need for unwavering support and cooperation with the families of the martyred Head Constable and his son during this difficult time.
The entire law enforcement community stands united in grief, vowing to provide comprehensive assistance and support to the families of the martyrs.
The sacrifices of those who lay down their lives in the service of the nation will be remembered with profound respect and gratitude.
