Gordon College students protest proposed handover of college to church

Worst traffic jam was witnessed on Murree Road in Rawalpindi on Thursday after a large number of students of the Government Gordon College, Rawalpindi protested against the proposed handover of their college to an American church, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shouting the slogans of ‘Na manzoor, Na manzoor’ (not acceptable, not acceptable), the students marched from the college to the press club at Liaquat Bagh.

They said that placing the college under the control of the church was not acceptable to them.

They threatened the government with jamming the entire city in case it went ahead with its proposed plan.
