Sindh official forgets 15,000 vaccine shots at airport

A Sindh Health Department official on Thursday went to Karachi Airport and received 95,000 doses of anti-coronavirus vaccine from the federal government but left behind 15,000 shots unattended at the airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The TV channel reported that the unloaded vaccine shots were kept at the airport without any cold-chain facility.
The official took along him 80,000 doses but forgot another 15,000.
Aga Khan Hospital stops free shots
Separately, the Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi has started charging for anti-corona vaccines and set the price at Rs3,000 for administering vaccine jabs at home.
Aga Khan Hospital has stopped people from coming to its vaccination centre without appointment from Thursday. The TV channel reported that other private hospitals demanded action from the government against this move.
