There were serious differences in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-) errupted and the party has been split over the change of the Governor Sindh and Faisal Vawda's senate ticket on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the MQM-P's Rabita Committee was unaware of who proposed the name of Khushbukhat Shujaat for the governorship to replace Kamran Tessori.
Well placed sources in the party said the majority of the MQM-P's Rabita Committee was in favor of retaining Kamran Tessori as Sindh Governor.
The sources said the majority of the committee members also opposed giving senate ticket to Faisal Vawda.
The sources disclosed that the committee was informed that on the instructions of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, MQM-P assembly members signed Faisal Vawda's nomination papers.
It is worth mentioning that soon after developing the situation over the issue of the new Sindh Governor, sitting Governor Kamran Tessori left for Islamabad to consult his close friends.


Reacting over the reports of difference in the party, MQM-P leader Rauf Siddiqui said there was no differences on giving Senate ticket to Faisal Vawda and appointment of Sindh Governor.
He confirmed that his party has fielded 8 candidates for the senate elections and everyone will accept the candidate that will be approved by the party.
On the other hand, Faisal Vawda has said that he is an independent candidate in senate elections because the season of independents is going on in the country.
MQM-P's controversial candidate Faisal Vawda also said that he passed 14 to 15 years in the same party and left it when the party descended into follies.
Faisal Vawda also said that he is like a son of President Asif Ali Zardari as he called him like his son.
