Lahore police have again started patrolling the city on a horseback after a gap of two years, reported 24NewsHD TV on Thursday.
Police and Rangers’ personnel will now jointly patrol city’s streets and roads on a weekly basis to maintain law and order.
Lahore police had removed the stables two years ago and sent the horses to other districts.
Rangers and eight young police officers, riding on the horses, roamed the main roads of the city.
It is pertinent to mention that Lahore police called back eight horses from PC Farooqabad.
