Talks with IMF fruitful: Dar

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said the talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) remained fruitful, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Negotiations with the IMF went well, he told the media in London on Tuesday. The finance minister said a total of 58 meetings were held with IMF and World Bank in four days. The dollar will return to its original value soon, he stressed.
The finance minister chaired an ECC meeting that approved funding to various schemes including relief for flood-hit farmers yesterday. The body okayed the release of billions of rupees for various schemes of the parliamentarians and the summary of 5 billion rupees for the seventh census.
