Gold prices surprisingly soar in local jewelers market

In a significant market movement, gold prices in the Multan jewellery market have seen a substantial increase on Tuesday, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the report, the price of 24 karats of pure gold has surged by Rs1,000 per tola, marking a notable shift in the local market.
The price of 24 karat of pure gold has escalated to Rs2,11,000 per tola while 22 karat of gold is now being traded at Rs1,93,416 per tola.
On a per-gram basis, the price of 24 karats of gold has reached Rs18,000 and 22 karats of gold is now selling at Rs16,500 on Tuesday.
Yesterday, gold prices witnessed a steep decline following the trend of the international market and the price of 24 karats of pure gold dropped by Rs1,900 per tola in the Pakistani jewellers market.
In the international market on Monday, the price of pure gold of 24 karats was also decreased by US$15 per ounce and traded at US$1,923 per ounce.
While the price of silver did not change and traded at Rs2,500 per tola and Rs2143.34 per ten grams.
